what the research says, and what it doesn’t.

Each ingredient in Everything Glow has been studied on its own. Everything Glow itself has not been tested in a clinical study yet. This page shows the research behind each ingredient, the dose that research used, and how it compares with one sachet.

ingredient by ingredient

Prebiotic blend

In Everything Glow: 1.5 g — PHGG, gum arabic, inulin and FOS

Prebiotic fibres feed the bacteria already living in your gut. Researchers increasingly describe a gut–skin axis: the state of the gut shows up in the skin.

Worth knowing: Both PHGG studies used more PHGG than one sachet contains. Our 1.5 g is a blend of four fibres.

Vitamin C

In Everything Glow: 65 mg — 100% of the daily requirement for women

Skin holds high levels of vitamin C, and the body needs it to make collagen.

L-Glutathione

In Everything Glow: 500 mg

Glutathione is the body’s own main antioxidant. The open question for years was whether taking it by mouth raises the body’s levels at all.

  • Richie et al., European Journal of Nutrition, 2015 — Six-month randomised, placebo-controlled trial in 54 adults taking 250 mg or 1,000 mg a day. Glutathione levels in the blood rose at both doses (by 30–35% in several blood measures at the higher dose) and fell back after a month off.

Worth knowing: Much of the skin research on oral glutathione measures melanin, because in India it is sold as a fairness product. We don’t make that claim, and we don’t cite those studies as a reason to take Everything Glow.

Alpha lipoic acid

In Everything Glow: 25 mg

Alpha lipoic acid is part of the body’s antioxidant network: it helps recycle other antioxidants, including vitamin C and glutathione.

Worth knowing: This review is mostly laboratory and animal research, not trials in people.

Zinc

In Everything Glow: 5 mg — 38% of the daily requirement for women

Zinc is an essential mineral that the skin, hair and nails rely on.

  • EFSA Journal, 2010;8(10):1819 — The European Food Safety Authority accepted that zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal skin, hair and nails.

what we haven’t done yet

A study on Everything Glow itself

Everything above is about individual ingredients, at the doses those studies used. None of it shows what Everything Glow, as a whole, does. That needs its own clinical study, and we haven’t run one.

Batch lab reports

We haven’t published any batch lab reports yet. We’ll post each batch’s report on this page.
